The new men’s Modern Straight Jeans ($60) are constructed from 13.2-oz., 100-percent cotton denim in the classic five-pocket style. Moto-friendly features include new rivetless pockets that prevent unwanted scuffs to motorcycle seats, while new back pockets are more durable and less likely to tear. Longer belt loops feature doubled material for increased durability and to accommodate wider belts, and the V-shaped center back loop prevents belts from creeping above the waistband. The left-side coin pocket adds riding convenience with left-hand accessibility. The Modern Straight cut offers straight legs, a slight taper to the ankle and a fit that sits just below the natural waist. From the Black Label line, the new men’s Slim Straight Denim Jeans ($60) offer 54 percent percent cotton/46 percent polyester 12.75 oz. premium denim construction. Cut slim through the seat and thighs, with a straight leg and a slightly lower rise to the waist, these jeans match modern style with a five-pocket pant. The rivetless pocket design means no unwanted impacts to motorcycle seats, while a left-side coin pocket is a nod to their motorcycle heritage. While these new jeans from Harley contain several rider-friendly features, it should be noted that while rivetless pockets may protect your seat, they will not protect your rump. These jeans are neither armored, nor are they designed to accept protective knee and/or hip pads. Further, they’re not Kevlar-lined. So, let the rider beware.
